Kirsty’s Story.

Although she hadn’t rollerbladed for many years, Kirsty Morris from West Sussex decided to dust off her rollerblading boots and complete a 30k challenge for SPF in May 2024.

Motivated by her belief that prisoners’ children are often overlooked and in need of support, blading legend, Kirsty, took it upon herself to make a difference: “Inspired by my children, I dusted off my original roller-boots from 30 years ago,” says Kirsty.  “I am so proud of what I managed to achieve.”

Kirsty finished her epic journey on Hove seafront to the rapturous applause of friends and family who had gathered to cheer her on.

She smashed her original target of £500 to raise an amazing £1,024 for us, enabling us to train more court volunteers for our important work.
