This is the impact of our work. We support families who are living through extremely traumatic events. We are so lucky that sometimes families feel they can give back by sharing their positive reflections on the ways that we supported them. More feedback in our impact report here.

Feedback from families
Our families share their thoughts with us on our Whatsapp groups, via email and through comments on our social media. Having all of these channels of communication open gives families the opportunity to reach out to us however and whenever they feel comfortable.
Sussex Prisoners’ Families was founded when a need in our community was identified. We recognised that the families of those entering the Criminal Justice System were innocent victims who were often at best totally ignored and at worst considered guilty by association. We wanted to support those families, to ensure that they knew they weren’t alone. Below is our theory of change model, we use this as a practical roadmap, informing day-to-day decisions and aligning our work with the long-term impact we seek.
